The Romanian medical field is in need of value. Value is testified through international acknowledgment. At this moment, the Romanian clinical medicine is capable to promote a periodical publication comparable to the famous international journals, a journal which can be accredited after the long and difficult period of monitorization and omologation expires. We intend to accomplish these goals through this new journal of clinical medicine MÆDICA – a Journal of Clinical Medicine.

The product of Romanian clinical medicine must not address only a company of selected minds. It needs to prove itself interesting enough to all those practicing clinical medicine. This journal must be a prompt image of everything of value taking place in clinical medicine. Any practitioner who entertains a direct relationship with the suffering should find his milestones here.

MÆDICA – a Journal of Clinical Medicine aims to embrace scientific editorials which represent the up-to-date synthesis, drawing upon results from the most recent national and international papers. This is the reason why the Editorial Board gathered together famous Romanian personalities, as well as foreigners, the majority of Romanian origin, who have built themselves a strong international reputation.

MÆDICA – a Journal of Clinical Medicine intends to attract a consistent number of original Romanian clinical papers, together with papers authored by friends and collaborators. In a normal European environment scientific creation is maximally respected and financed as such. Enticing research grants, adjusting money to creative ideas and not fitting the researcher's imagination to the existing technical means - this is the normal reality in which we begin to live. MÆDICA – a Journal of Clinical Medicine aims at becoming the true image of this normal environment.

The journal brags a large board of specialists involved in the peer-review process and will follow in every detail the international rules for ackowledging quality and originality, be it synthesis of the hottest themes of debate, be it publication of own results.

The journal aims to become interesting and useful abroad. This is the reason why English will be the language of MÆDICA – a Journal of Clinical Medicine.

MÆDICA – a Journal of Clinical Medicine desires to be the flag of the resurrection of Romanian clinical medicine as European value.
