DESCRIPTION
The main purpose of MÆDICA – a Journal of Clinical Medicine is to constantly improve the quality of the medical practice in Romania through its scientific specialized content.
From the summary:
- the most recent studies, research and discussions in clinical medicine nowadays;
- scientific editorials that reflect an up-to-date synthesis of the results provided by the newest national and international medical papers and research;
- various original papers, reviews, case reports, etc produced by authors from Romania and all over the world;
- the content of the Journal is in English only.

The Journal has a notable peer-review board and its editorial content meets the international standards of certified quality and originality of the articles.

In manuscripts submitted for publication in MAEDICA J Clin Med, the acceptable percentage of plagiarism report is below 15%, and the maximum accepted percentage for artificial intelligence (AI) use is 30%.

Starting from the year 2025, MÆDICA – a Journal of Clinical Medicine will be publishing only articles with immediate clinical applicability.
In 2026, articles will continue to be published on open access terms. Therefore, the Journal will be depositing the full text content in PubMedCentral as well as full open access on www.maedica.ro.
To support this, the publication fee that will be charged to authors on acceptance of their paper will be 300 Euros per article.

In 2026, the annual subscription (4 issues) for the electronic version of MAEDICA–a Journal of Clinical Medicine is 180 lei.
