Managing Crohn’s Disease during Pregnancy

ABSTRACT

Crohn’s disease (CD) is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease with onset during reproductive age. Advancement in medical therapies and treatment strategies have made pregnancy following a diagnosis of CD a viable and safe option for more women with this disease. In this review we discuss the evidence based management of Crohn’s disease during pregnancy.
